Dakore was featured as a panelist on MTNs recently held Drug Convos. It was an initiative of the MTN Foundation’s Anti-Substance Abuse Programme (ASAP) created to raise awareness about drug abuse that held on Friday, June 26, 2020.
During her session, she talked about an experience she had from her university days that had us all shook!
According to her, there was a time she was really broke as a student (something we can all relate to, right?), and to her shock, she was approached by someone who asked if she would be willing to transport drugs.
“Someone actually came up to me… He said, would you want to carry some drugs and get paid when you get there?
Dakore was only 21 years when this incident happened. She went on to explain that it was her upbringing and the fear of God that prevented her from engaging in such an activity.
