Minister of Info and Tradition Lai Mohammed has mentioned that President Muhammadu Buhari has accepted reforms within the broadcasting trade, together with licensing of on-line radio and tv stations.
In accordance with Channels, Mohammed made this recognized whereas responding to a request for a assessment of the Broadcasting Code when members of the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) visited him in Abuja.
Mohammed mentioned: “I just want to use this opportunity to inform you that Mr President has actually already approved a review of the Broadcast Code that is going to take care of many of the issues you have already raised here.”
