The Nigerian Military mentioned it has destroyed some buildings belonging to components of the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) in air strikes carried out at Muktu in the Northern a part of Borno State.
The Military in an announcement issued yesterday by Brigadier Normal, Benard Onyeuko, its
Performing Director, Defence Media Operations on the Defence Headquarters,
mentioned the mission was executed by the Air Element of Operation Lafiya Dole on the 25 March 2020, as a part of the continuing subsidiary Operation Decisive Edge, after Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) flights indicated that the ISWAP components have been utilizing some compounds in 2 places inside the settlement to retailer their logistics in addition to practice their fighters.
